Terms & Conditions
The small print – basically important stuff we think you should know before making your booking!
- Bookings are confirmed once the deposit has been paid & the booking confirmation form has been returned accepting the T&Cs.
- A minimum, NON-REFUNDABLE booking fee of £100 is required per car hired.
- We ask that deposits are paid within seven days of receipt of the email confirming your booking. Failure to do so will mean the car(s) will be offered for hire again.
- Our standard prices are based on a local wedding (~10 Miles from our Maidstone base) and includes up to 2 trips. There are additional charges to add on more trips or for events /weddings further away from our base. Details of all costs for your specific event will be provided at the time of the quote.
- All amendments to the booking must be made in writing - an email is just fine!
- Balance is due 12 weeks prior to the event day. Failure to pay the balance on time will result in the vehicle being released for other bookings
- Payment is requested by bank transfer please.
- We may be able to book vehicles at short notice, if less than 12 weeks prior to the event, the full balance will be due at the time of booking.
- Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations will incur a cancellation fee. The following fees are for guidance only. Less than 20 weeks but more than 12 - 50% of balance. Less than 12 weeks - full amount. This is due to turning away other work for the car(s) for your date
- Whilst we will make every effort to arrive punctually at your address and destination, we cannot be held responsible for late arrival or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control. We will not be responsible for any impact that a delay might cause through missed connections, cancelled functions or engagement
- In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown, we will endeavour to supply an alternative vehicle for your journey. We will not be responsible for any impact that a delay might cause through missed connections, cancelled functions or engagements. We can’t be held responsible if there are delays outside our control, e.g., weather, accidents etc.
- Our chauffeurs will choose the route based on local knowledge, experience or sat nav. If there is a specific route you’d like to take, please let us know in writing – as long as it is reasonable, we’ll endeavour to fit with your requirements
- Any alterations made to the booking details eg additional trips. longer duration, change of date etc, may incur additional charges or not be possible due to conflicts with another booking, personell or car availability.
- Passengers travel at their own risk and the company cannot be responsible for any injury or damage to property within these vehicles
- The age and type of vehicles do not allow for car seats/boosters to be safely used, therefore we regret we cannot carry children, unless they can be safely restrained using the standard fitted seatbelts
- The principal hirer will be responsible for the conduct of all passengers for the duration of the hire. We reserve the right to invoice or charge the hirer for any losses or damages sustained to any part of the vehicle caused by any passenger or third party. A minimum charge of £200 will be applied to cover costs of valeting should fouling occur through drink, food or illness
- We operate a strict no smoking/vaping policy
- Any form of anti-social behaviour towards a member of staff within the company will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the hire and may involve police action.
- Our Drivers will check the vehicles after the journey for belongings. We cannot be held responsible for any item lost or broken whilst in our vehicles. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure that all belongings are removed after the journey • The company offers a policy of total discretion for all our clients. The exception is photography for company promotional purposes or literatur, social media and the website. If you do not wish to have your images used, please inform us at any time in writing.
- The company is not registered VAT, therefore the price quoted is not subject to additional VAT charge
- We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions at any time.
